As the Student Lead at the Career Center, it is my job to ensure every person who reaches out to us has a positive and smooth experience. For students, career planning and exploration can be intimidating or seem unimportant. It is my goal to make sure all visits to our office leave the students with a deeper understanding of the importance and value of career-related knowledge and skills. I hope to break the stigma that career education is something to worry about when you are just finishing your degree, and encourage students to see the benefit of adopting a career focused mindset all throughout their time in college. I am a third-year Sociology student graduating this May with hopes to start Nursing School next year. In my free time I love to travel, read, and spend time with my friends and family.
