Our annual Career Fest gives students the opportunity to network with over 100 employers of all industries and sectors that are looking to recruit for full-time, part-time, internship, and volunteer positions.

Even if you are not ready to apply for jobs, or are not looking for a job, attending Career Fest is a great way to explore new opportunities and learn about different employment requirements. In addition to career recruiting, Career Fest also welcomes graduate school recruiting for those interested in pursuing graduate programs.

For Students

Students, register for Career Fest through Handshake

This is your opportunity to meet employers and learn about job and internship opportunities. You will get to learn about new organizations and companies who could end up being your next employer. Some companies even offer interviews or hire ON THE SPOT - so be prepared! Meeting employers face-to-face increases your chances of being hired over applying online.

Don't be intimidated - employers are there to meet you. You’ll be able to visit different tables, discuss your interests, and learn about new opportunities. Fine-tune your 'elevator pitch' ahead of time so you are prepared with what to say.

Students should come dressed in professional attire and should bring printed copies of their resume. Need help writing a resume? Meet with a Career Advisor by calling (707) 664-2198. Admission is always FREE for students with valid SSU ID.

For Employers

Attending our career fair is one of the most effective ways for your organization or company to gain visibility and maximize your recruiting potential. This is your opportunity to:

  • Talk to students from all majors and backgrounds
  • Educate students your hiring practices and desired skills
  • Recruit for part-time, full-time, internship, or seasonal positions
